Warmtouch Semi-Gloss Coating for Handrails & Metal Surfaces

Warmtouch semi-gloss coating for handrails and metal surfaces is true to its name – providing warmth to the touch!  In addition, it also prevents handrails becoming slippery due to condensation and other outdoor conditions, thereby conforming fully to the Building Regulations 2000 Law, which states “handrails need to be slip resistant and not cold to the touch”.

How does Warmtouch work?

Warmtouch coating creates a unique thermal barrier once applied to handrails and other metal surfaces.  When you touch the handrail, the heat from your hand is reflected back to your hand, instead of being absorbed through the handrail and escaping. This is achieved by utilizing the very latest Nano and Insulating technologies developed by our highly skilled Research & Development Team. The handrail surface is warmer to the touch and the texture non-slip, while displaying a striking, high-quality, semi-gloss finish.

How does Warmtouch work?

Warmtouch is weatherproof so perfect for use on handrails, gates, fences, scaffolding tubes, street furniture and benches for example, to make them ‘warm to the touch’.  Warmtouch also helps reduce condensation problems and is suitable for use both internally and externally.

Warmtouch is suitable for residential, commercial and industrial use, having a high resistance to chemical and water leakage and being abrasion resistant.  Warmtouch is a cost-effective, simple-to-use solution and ideal for use externally on other metal surfaces where the interior needs to remain cooler, e.g. railway signal boxes, metal containers and air conditioning units.

How to use Warmtouch Coating?

Disability Discrimination Act & Building Regulations

The act requires that easy access into a building and movement around and within buildings, particularly shops and places of entertainment is offered and is outlined in Part M of the Building Regulations. Part of this obligation is that handrails must be provided to both sides of the ramp, with a visual contrast to their background and must be warm to the touch and anti-slip.
